Room heating mode: the user sets the needed temperature of the room, and the system heats the room to the set temperature. The glass temperature is between +30 and +60 С in this mode.
Thermal curtain mode: controls comfortable temperature in the room. The system is activated once the temperature drops, and turns off when the comfortable temperature is reached.
a 15м2 room is heated with a 3.82м2 HS Glass window in 3 hours.
Costs for period:
795 W/h or 16 UAH
Thermal curtain mode:
to maintain a 22ºC temperature in the room HS system spends one third of its power.
Costs for period:
300 kW or 1 000 UAH/month
Can I replace the insulated glazing into the existing windows?
Yes, you can. In any type of window (plastic, wood, aluminum).
How can I replace the insulated glazing into the existing windows?
You take out your glazing and install ours connecting it to the electric power
How do I connect to electric power if the room has already been renovated?
In this case we pass the cable from the nearest socket through the cable duct into the skirting. We further pass the cable under the skirting to the window sill, up the cable duct to the window and into the corner of the frame. Then we drill a hole in the shorter end of the window. Now the cable is hidden, and all the maneuvers are done inside the frame.
How does it work?
The pane has metal spattering nano-layer which provides resistance like glow plug in a light bulb. A current of 220V is applied to this pane, and the glass heats to 50-60 degrees.
Is it safe?
Yes, it’s safe! We have all certificates approved by all certification institutions in Ukraine and Europe. To put simply: if you break the window, the contact is broken (it’s like tearing apart the glow plug of the light bulb), the current is not applied and the chain is broken. The glass is inside the glazing, and there is no direct access to it. You can touch the window without any hesitation.
Will anything happen to the profile or the rubber?
No, they will be OK. REHAU Company provided us with an official document that guarantees nothing happens to the profile when heating it to 60 degrees (no harmful emitions), deformation starts at 90 degrees C. Our windows can only heat to 60 degrees.
How many windows do I need to heat a room?
It depends on energy efficiency of your room. On average, you need 20% (windows) of the floor area. Example: If you have a 100 m2 room, you need 20 m2 of windows to heat it.
How much energy do they consume?
At the stage of heating (if your room is 0 degrees and you need 21), the consumption is 100-150 W/m2. After the room is heated, the windows turn off automatically and turn back on again when the temperature drops 1 degree lower. In this mode (windows on/off), average 24h consumption will be 40 W/m2.
How expensive are your windows compared to regular windows?
They cannot be compared. We sell engineering products which allow not only to heat your room but also to maintain the temperature (average heat loss through quality windows is up to 30-35%) letting only 2-3% escape outside. Our windows as the only (or possibly the complimentary) heating system helps you save space that you would spend on boilers and radiators, shuts out liquid engineering in a battery, etc. Our windows are cheaper than the all above mentioned appliances.
